Fall 2022

Goal: Design a team tshirt for The Golden Dragonflies to wear while participating in Janesville, WI’s “Dragons on the Rock” dragon boat race and festival. The team consisted of 16-20 high-spirited paddlers and one exuberant drummer, all in one dragon boat.

The design incorporates a dragon boat on the river and a paddle into the shape of a dragonfly. Yellow was chosen due to it represented happiness, honor, and optimism. Blue symbolized the water, as well as loyalty, faith, and trust. This team was formed of many different community members, so optimism and trust were driving factors of performing well in the race.
